By Unitree Robotics · China · announced August 2023
Unitree's original full-size humanoid, holder of the humanoid speed record and workhorse of a hundred labs.
The main field guide selects 14 companion robots for deeper review. This entry belongs to a separate 53-record index that also covers industrial, research, and developer systems.
The H1 was Unitree's statement that it could build full-size humanoids, not just robot dogs. The 1.8 meter, 47 kilogram biped set a world speed record for humanoids at 3.3 meters per second and became famous doing synchronized dances at China's 2025 Spring Festival Gala. It remains listed at $90,000 (inquiry pricing in practice) as the legacy full-size research platform.
H1 units have shipped to research customers since 2024 and appear throughout academic literature. The line has since been succeeded by the H2 generation, but the H1's combination of size, speed and relative affordability keeps it in service worldwide.
