Unitree's $29,900 full-size flagship, now shipping, and the body NVIDIA chose for its open humanoid reference design.
The main field guide selects 14 companion robots for deeper review. This entry belongs to a separate 53-record index that also covers industrial, research, and developer systems.
The H2 is Unitree's second-generation full-size humanoid, revealed in October 2025: 1.8 meters, about 70 kilograms, with smoother, more humanlike proportions than the H1 and a base price of $29,900, a third of its predecessor's. The base unit ships with non-functional dummy hands; dexterous hands and higher tiers (commercial about $41,000, EDU about $69,000 via distributors) cost more.
Phased deliveries to North America began around April 2026. At Computex in June 2026, NVIDIA announced the H2-based 'H2 Plus' as the first Isaac GR00T reference humanoid, with Jetson Thor onboard and availability promised for October 2026 to anyone, with Stanford, ETH Zurich, UC San Diego and Ai2 as academic launch partners; Unitree's shop lists it at $100,000.
The H2 generation anchors Unitree's move upmarket as the company heads for its Shanghai IPO, approved by regulators in July 2026 with a raise around $618 million.
